Wednesday, 23 October 2019 00:00

Our community has experienced a rash of crimes this year, and many of those crimes involve gun violence. The number of murders in our county has risen significantly. Children and youth are often adversely impacted either directly or indirectly as a result of gun violence.

NC Child and The Children’s Alliance invite you to join us for an upcoming event on the impact of gun violence on our youth. We believe it is critically important that we understand the issues that our children face and to seek ways to address them. We have a distinguished panel of speakers to who will share their thoughts, followed by an open discussion. This event will explore the increasing problem of gun violence in our communities and its negative impact on our children. Speakers will also discuss potential solutions to improve community safety. There is limited space, Please register in advance.
